When you're worried things won't work out...

Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale through your mouth.
Acknowledge your worries, feelings, emotions, and if applicable the situation and/or people.
As you acknowledge things, work on accepting the present situation for what it is, accepting that you have no control over the future, and accept all of your feelings/emotions and similar.
Acceptance is not always easy so you may have to repeat the process multiple times.
Stay present. Don't live in the future. Don't live in the past.
Let go of the worry. The fears. The what ifs.
Deep breath in. Deep breath out.

Other things to try:
Calming teas
Aromatherapy
Massage
Hobbies (distract your mind - be present and mindful of hobby you are doing.)
Cook
Go for a Walk
Take a Bath/Shower
Listen to Music - Sing & Dance
Yoga
Meditation
Call a Friend

* With all of these try to remain present. Be in the moment. If showering focus on what you're doing, be mindful. If you find your mind wandering to ruminations/worry take a deep breath and bring yourself back to the present moment.

There are many things you can do so as not to worry/ruminate.
Give your mind some peace :-)
