Nutritional Rebalancing

I have shared my "diet plan" here a few times. What I tell all if they want to look and feel better? Balance.
Healthy diet. Stay hydrated. Use high quality vitamins/supplements. Get daily exercise/physical activity. Restive sleep is very important. Yoga. Therapy. And for optimum results, you make this a lifestyle and live it everyday. (I'm currently crawling my way back on the healthy band wagon... meh lol)

Here is an article that I thought expressed the same ideas, but with their own twist. I fully agree with this article, and am proof that one doesn't need diet products to loose weight, be healthy, and happy. (So long as I stick to my healthy lifestyle plan, my varying medical conditions are kept in check, my skin, hair and nails are healthy, I feel good and I look good!)

Here we go...

Nutritional Rebalancing

Combine nutrition with a healthy lifestyle and what do you get? A balanced life, where you can reclaim your life!

Do you want to feel better? Why?

Maybe you don't move as well as you did 10, 15, 20 years ago. Maybe you have discomfort. Maybe you have digestive issues. Maybe you have a health complaint. Maybe you're tired. Maybe you can't sleep.

So what do you do when you want to feel better? You look for a solution!

Maybe you have tried all kinds of "snake oil", and fish oil, and pills, and potions. Some of you have found relief. Others of you have not.

What can nutritional re-balancing offer that's different? First of all, it's a lifestyle. You don't just take a pill for 30 days and expect your symptoms to change. If you want long-lasting results, you have to have long-lasting habits. So nutritional re-balancing is about establishing new habits.

Habits like reaching for air-popped popcorn instead of fried corn chips. Habits like eating recommended portion sizes, not the whole bag. Habits like drinking water, rather than soda pop.

Let's look at the steps involved with nutritional re-balancing.

3 Steps to Nutritional Rebalancing

Cleanse your body of impurities that get in through the air you breathe, water you drink, and food you eat!Revitalize your body with a synergistic combination of high-quality nutrients (like protein, complex carbohydrates, and good fats) that can enter your individual cells!Replenish your body with vital minerals and essential vitamins - you need both or else neither will work!

Now that you know the basics ...

Let's go into some more detail

Your body is naturally designed to remove impurities ... but there is a limit to how much it can handle. In our day and age, our bodies are overloaded by toxins, so they can't do what they were designed to do! When the body's in overload, it takes the excess impurities, that it cannot remove, and coats them in fat and water in order to protect your vital organs. When you cleanse the impurities from your body, you also remove the excess fat and water - yipee! And yes, in order to cleanse your body, you'll need to drink LOTS of water.

But wait, there's more! Once you're removed the impurities, you've created a "gap" inside your body. You now want to fill up your body with quality nutrition ... not junk! So rather than reaching for cookies and chips, reach for produce and whole grains. Rather than toast and a cup of coffee for breakfast, have a bowl of oatmeal ("instant" oatmeal is ok in a pinch, but you'll get the most benefit from "old fashioned rolled oats") and add some raisins and a drop of real maple syrup. Rather than the quarter pound hamburger at lunch, choose a "regular" size burger (or better yet, pick the "kids" size). Eat half the bun so that you limit the amount of refined white flour in your system (I eat the bottom half of the bun because it's smaller) ... it's just like eating an open-faced sandwich! Skip the fries and opt for a baked potato (and yes, you CAN add sour cream, as long as it's no more than 1 tablespoon).

Replenish your body by taking some simple steps. Switch from coffee and soda to water. I know you've HEARD it before ... now ACT on it. Caffeine in coffee and soda dehydrate you and increase the amount of cortisol in your system, which then puts your body in a "stress" state. Hey, you have enough stress in your life ... why add to it? The carbonation in soda robs your body of minerals and shuts down your immune system! Nothing like ASKING for the flu! Drink water. It's simple, not easy. While you're at it, add some sea salt to your water so that your body can absorb the water. Real sea salt that is minimally processed has color to it - pink, red, grey, brown. If your salt is white ... it's worthless.

Now for the Benefits - With a lifestyle of nutritional rebalancing, you can expect that ...

You will FEEL better
You will LOOK better
You will LIVE better

You're just ... just ... BETTER!

And you deserve better, don't you?

Yes, you can expect to feel better once you've nutritionally balanced your body. Many of the discomforts we experience are side effects of toxicity or dehydration. When you add "premium gas" to your body's engine, it's a natural consequence that performance will increase as well.

When cleanse, you can also expect to look better. It's normal for someone who's nutritionally rebalancing to receive comments like, "You don't look tired anymore" or "Look at how your skin is glowing!" or "The sparkle is back in your eyes!"

And when you feel and look better, you just live better. Why fix something that isn't broken? You'll continue to follow your new habits and live a life that's better for you because you want to continue living a life where you feel and look better. It's a BEAUTIFUL circle (not a vicious one).

So there you have it.

You now know the 3 easy steps of nutritionally rebalancing. And those 3 easy steps lead to 3 darn nice benefits.
